If you love high spirited foxy little ladies who want only to be with you, then Lexus is the girl for you. She is as sweet as she is beautiful. A real joy to have around.

She follows me everywhere, running up and down the stairs with ease and just loves helping to make the bed. She loves squeaky toys and runs around with one in her mouth much of the time always wanting to be the center of attention. She does well on a leash and knows to potty & poop outside but is a little mixed up right now. Where ever she goes it will take time for her to adjust.

At 9 lbs she is at a good weight and is comfortable being picked up, she tries to help by jumping so it is necessary to catch her on the way up being careful not to put too much pressure on her stomach. She weighed over 10.3 lbs when she came to us and was uncomfortable being picked up.

While she gets along well with dogs & cats, I believe she would be happiest as an only child, or maybe have a little brother who doesn't mind being pushed around. When I call my little girls to me Lexie likes to push between us and knocks them flat with a simple hip action. The Girls know that I am "top dog" so don't raise much of a fuss, they just give her dirty looks and pout when I show her attention.

Lexus has her own pen in the middle of all the activity that she likes to retreat to when she wants to rest and sleeps in at night. She would rather sleep on our bed with us but The Girls just won't stand for that. Thunder storms make her very nervous, she paces and pants until they are over. With advanced warning I can give her a few drops of valerian root on a doggie biscuit which helps calm her, she won't eat when she is nervous. She stays in her pen during storms and while we are out of the house.

In the car she loves riding in the doggie seat beside me on her trips to the beauty shop. She thinks she is so special and does really well being groomed. She also does well geting bathed in the kitchen sink.
