Special Needs: Registry: AKC Microchipped! Special Needs for the first 7 years of her life, Sunday lived in a cage. She was purchased at a low-level auction. If we had not been there, she would have been put in another cage, and there is no doubt that she would have died there. Her life was grim.

Today, Sunday has finally begun to trust humans. She is still not outgoing, but she has proved with her foster family that she can love and be loved. Her coat, which was very poor, is beginning to shine. Good nutrition is helping and she loves to eat! Sunday has only bonded with one person -- her foster father -- maybe because he kept her alive with tiny morsels of food when she was too depressed to eat. There is always hope that someone else may find a place in her heart.
